I am managing director of BiZZdesign, which offers integrated suites for Enterprise Architecture and Business Process Engineering and Management. I have a professional background (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) in business and systems engineering. I have enjoyed advising organisations on becoming agile using EA and BPM, writing papers, co-authoring books and giving lectures. The past years, I have spent my time building up the BiZZdesign Company.

Beside my role within the ArchiMate Foundation, I am also a board member of the BPM-forum and on the advisory board of Via Nova Architectura.

I strongly believe in the power of Enterprise Architecture (EA) for agile organizations and the merits of the ArchiMate language to become an international standard for EA-modelling. Moreover, I believe in and actively promote sharing knowledge and best practices within communities such as the ArchiMate Foundation, the BPM-forum and international organizations like The Open Group Architecture Forum.
