Marc Lankhorst

I am a senior member of scientific staff and head of the expertise group on Service Architectures at the Telematica Instituut in Enschede, The Netherlands, where I have spent the last 11 years of my professional life. My research interests range from enterprise architecture and business process management to service orientation and model-driven software development.

In the past, I have managed the ArchiMate project of the Telematica Instituut, from which the ArchiMate Foundation has resulted. I have also been responsible for the institute’s group of software engineers. At the moment, I manage the B-dossier project, a project on integrated, demand-driven e-government services. I also teach on architecture at universities and other institutes. Next to the ArchiMate Foundation, I am also a board member of the Netherlands Architecture Forum and one of the editors of Via Nova Architectura.
